The Montgomery County GOP Committee Wednesday night endorsed its two candidates for county commissioner. Incumbent Bruce Castor and Lower Merion Republican Jenny Brown (pictured here) will lead the ticket into the upcoming election campaign. Brown says she and Castor will bring fiscal responsibility back into the Norristown Courthouse. Castor says he has no regrets about his first term in office even though he was the odd man out after his last running mate made a power sharing alliance with Democratic Commissioner Joe Hoeffel. Other incumbents that won endorsement for reelection from the county Republican Committee include District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and Recorder of Deeds Nancy Becker. A favorite son of Towamencin is also part of the GOP ticket this year. Township Supervisor Chuck Wilson is the endorsed Republican candidate for county treasurer.
