Governor Tom Corbett (pictured here) was in Montgomery County this week commending the National Label Company in Lafayette Hill for an expansion project that is now underway. He said the project underscores his view on how Pennsylvania can attract more businesses.
“We want the jobs to come from not only New Jersey and Ohio but from around the country because we need to employ the people here in Pennsylvania and give them a good source of income from the private sector, not the public sector.”
Corbett said one key to getting more jobs is cutting government spending, which his budget does, creating a climate where private-sector businesses can succeed and grow. He said National Label, a family business founded in 1918, will hire more workers once the expansion project is finished.
