Judge Upholds Pavilion At Doylestown Zoning Decision

A Bucks County judge has upheld a Doylestown Township Zoning Hearing Board decision that prevents a developer from building a small shopping center at York and Swamp Roads. That’s Routes 263 and 313 in the Furlong section of the township.  Developer Joe Grasso had three alternatives that all included a 13,000-square-foot standard-model CVS Pharmacy at what he named The Pavilion at Doylestown.  The judge agreed with the zoners that the drug store could not exceed 10,000 square feet under current zoning for the property, and that other pharmacies or businesses could occupy the 10,000-square-foot space.
