Montgomery County State Representative Matthew Bradford says the recent mass shootings in Colorado and Wisconsin should prompt lawmakers to look at Pennsylvania’s gun laws.
Bradford was a guest on Monday’s Comment Please by Univest program. He thinks there should be limits on the ability of people with mental illness to purchase guns.
“There are those on the extremes on both sides who would go too far in terms of infringing people's rights or view it as everyone's right to own an Uzi. I think we all know there's a reasonable center that most people in Montgomery County would support.”
Bradford says there ought to be better enforcement of gun laws already on the books.
