State lawmakers are ready to deliver the governor a series of child protection laws by the end of November to protect children from predators. Bucks County State Representative, Kathy Watson, put together several of the bills.
“One of my ideas is that we would create a little kind of written vignette that you could go to maybe on the DPW website. They describe the whole situation. What should you do if you’re the neighbor or you’re the person in the supermarket or where ever you might be or wherever this fits. What would you, would call child line or would you call the police.”
Watson also wants to start a public relations campaign, involving businesses and companies to bring more awareness to protecting children.
