NP School Board G.O.P Sweep, Szekely,D’Angelo,Kaler Win.

In Tuesday’s elections, the G.O.P. swept the North Penn school board. President, Vince sherpinsky says, keeping taxes down was key.

“We’ve able to keep taxes down for homeowners in the district for 16 years and they didn’t forget it. I you want to see how things are done, you come to North Penn, we’ll show you how it’s done the right way.”

Sherpinsky was voted in to a 5th term. Lansdale Mayor, Andy Szekely retained his office.

“I was able to get out there and meet the voters. It was a good night for weather and the voters came out and things went well.”

Democratic challenger, Doug Dipasquale says, he still cares, despite coming up short

“If anyone wants to contact me for anything, I’ll be ready to take their call. I care about the Lansdale and know this place inside and out.”


North Wales has a new Mayor as Republican challenger, Greg D’angelo beat Democratic incumbent, Doug Ross. D’angelo appreciates the support from members of the community who cast a ballot for him.

“I was out in the community and I believe the voters came and supported me, for that I just want to thank them.”

Republicans swept the contested races in Hatfield borough. Mayor Robert Kaler will serve another term. In Hatfield Township, Commissioner Chairman, Tom Zipful holds on to his Ward 4 seat.
