Conservative Think Tank Differs With Corbett on Health Care

The Commonwealth foundation, a Harrisburg conservative think tank, disagrees with Governor Corbett’s plan to divert Federally allocated Medicaid dollars to allow Pennsylvanians to get on the health care exchange.

“We have not supported that. In fact, we think it would be a bad idea. This will not improve peoples health or access, but that is waiting in Washington waiting for approval from the Obama Administration.’

That’s Matt Brouilette, C.E.O and President of the Commonwealth Foundation. He adds, the Corbett Administration is asking that unemployed people who want to get on the exchange, should demonstrate that they are looking for work. Brouilette says, the President will likely deny that request. Brouilette was a guest Tuesday morning on the WNPV program Regarding Uour Money with George Toth.
