The proposed 2014 budget for Lansdale is available for public inspection. Borough Council has voted to advertise it. The 31.7 million dollar spending plan does not include a property tax increase. Sewer rates will remain the same as well. Borough Manager, Timi Kirchner gave the budget address Wednesday night.
“The budget, as required by law is balanced and does not require a tax or utility rate increase. Nor does it require borrowing from the planned for reserves garnered from the tax increase three years ago.”
Borough council will take final action on the budget December 18th.
