A measure sponsored by State Senator, Stewart Greenleaf, to address the growing problem of human trafficking clears a hurdle in Harrisburg. Bill 75 passed unanimously. Greenleaf says, Pennsylvanians need to be aware of what is going on concerning human trafficking.
“It’s an evil that’s not only all over the globe, but right here in Pennsylvania. These people who do these things will stop at nothing to abduct people and force them to work as sex and labor slaves. This could happen to any family. It’s an evil that we have to stop.”
Greenleaf says, All too often, the victim is treated like a criminal.
