The 6th Congressional District seat will feature a newcomer, after Congressman Jim Gerlach announced that he would not seek another term in office. Pottstown native, Ryan Costello, a Republican candidate, has thrown his hat in the ring. Costello says, the challenges in D.C. can’t be changed by one person.
“We need to make sure the one person we send down to Congress in the 6th Congressional District is reflecting our values and is doing what they can to work with others. There’s enough folks down there that see fighting and rhetoric as sufficient for purposes of representing their district and I don’t agree with that.”
Costello, an attorney, has built up a political resume over the years in Chester County as a County Commissioner. Costello was a guest on the AM Edition Thursday morning with Darryl Berger.
