Montgomery County Commissioner, Leslie Richards reacts to a Judge Bernard McGinley’s decision in Commonwealth Court on Friday that struck down the State’s Voter Photo I-D Law, which requires voters to present a photo I-D when casting a ballot.
“I’m really happy. I think this was a really unjust law. Sp I was really please with Judge McGinley’s decision. I truly believe that requiring photo ID was a burden on voters and individuals right to vote.”
Richards, a guest on the AM Edition Monday morning, is the Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Elections. The Corbett Administration is likely to appeal the decision to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
