Negotiators for the Perkiomen Valley School Board and teachers’ union have reached a tentative contract agreement, averting a strike that had been threatened for Tuesday, March 1. They reached the agreement Sunday night after six hours of talks. Perkiomen Valley Education Association members will vote on the contract next week, and the school board will vote on it the following week. Details have not been released. The teachers have been working without a new contract since June 30.
