The Central Bucks School Board and teachers’ union have approved a contract that gives all teachers a pay freeze in the first year, and gives teachers at the top and bottom of the salary matrix a pay freeze in the second year. The four-year deal also reduces raises in the third and fourth years and increases the teacher’s share of the health insurance premiums. They currently pay 12.5 percent, and in the fourth year they will pay 15.5 percent. Pay raises in the third and fourth years are slightly under two percent per year.
