With the cost of fuel going up, North Penn School District officials want to reduce spending on bus transportation. They are currently reviewing their policy on maximum ride time and looking at other factors that have a direct bearing on what it takes to bring students into the classroom. District officials promise the review won't be haphazard though. They say parents need to be comfortable with the level of bus service their children are receiving and any changes made in the interest of saving money need to have the support of the community if they are going to work.
