The Montgomery County Health Department is holding four immunization clinics for school-age children. They can get the shots required for school attendance free of charge, and the clinics are intended for parents and caregivers who do not have a family physician or health insurance.
They should review their children’s immunization record and contact the school nurse. The hours at all four clinics are 4:00 to 7:00pm, and the first one was Thursday, March 22, at Eisenhower Middle School in Norristown.
The others are Thursday, April 12, at Abington Junior High School, Thursday, April 19, at the Spring-Ford Ninth Grade Center in Royersford, and Thursday, April 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale. Only students with paperwork from the school nurse will be admitted to the clinics.
