Campaign signs are blanketing the local landscape in anticipation of election day on November 5th. Tim Kerr, Vice President of the North Penn School Board, is seeking another term. Kerr says, addressing costs and salary increases will be a priority if he’s re-elected.
“I certainly get along with union leadership, I’m willing to sit down and work with them. They need to be realistic as to what is out there and what taxpayers are willing to do.”
Kerr is running on the Republican ticket.
One of the Democrats running for a seat on the North Penn School Board says he will treat everyone with respect. An important aspect that Murali Balaji believes is missing, particularly when interacting with teachers.
“What we will do is listen to them and we will negotiate fairly.”
Balaji and Kerr were guests on the AM Edition Thursay morning
