Two Area Teams Still Alive

wnpv_sportsThe PIAA post-season continues today for three area schools.   In Single A Baseball action, the Christopher Dock Pioneers will take on Pius X at Muhlenberg High School this evening at 6pm. Dock is the top seed out of District One while Pius X it tops in District Eleven. A Dock win would put them in the state title game for the the third time in six years. They have not suffered a loss since April 20th. In Quad A Softball action, District One top seed CB South heads to Patriots Park in Allentown to take on Governor Mifflin. The Titans go into today's game with an 11 game winning streak. Game time also set for 6pm. takes on WPIAL Champion Mt. Lebanon. Earlier today, Haboro-Horsham was eliminated by Mt. Lebanon, 2-1. The winner of the South-Miffllin game will take on Mt. Lebanon for the state title on Friday afternoon from Shippensburg.
