Newtown, Bucks County isn't right next door, but close enough to get excited for some area baseball players. That's because the Council Rock Newtown 12 year-old baseball team is one game away from playing in the Little League World Series. Tonight on ESPN 2, Council Rock will take on Toms River, NJ for the right to head to Williamsport. CR is 21-1 through divisional, state and now regional play. Offensively, the team is on fire. They have outscored opponents 58-14 over the last five games. CR already owns a 10-6 win over Toms River (16-2) in the tournament. CR last won and made the Little League World Series in 2005. They last played in the Mid-Atlantic title game in 2007, a game that they lost. Game time is 8pm.
