Week Four Friday Night Football Wrap

friday-night-footballWith just about four weeks of high school football in the books, there are limited teams that can still claim the title "Unbeaten."
The Upper Moreland Golden Bears, Neshaminy Redskins and Council Rock are three league teams that still carry that banner.
CR South is by far the most impressive of the group having posted three straight shutouts. Closer to home, North Penn, Pennridge and Upper Dublin all have just one loss.
Both Cheltenham and CB West each suffered their first losses Friday evening. You can now include Archbishop Wood in the list of teams unbeaten with their win over St. Joe Prep on Saturday.

WNPV AM 1440 While you’re making your list and checking it twice, make sure you include your local independent business owners! Recent studies have shown that as much as $75 of every $100 you spend at a locally owned business stays in your area versus just $40 from those chain stores in the mall and $0 ... that’s right ZERO ...when you buy online! More money staying local means more funding for the schools, hospitals, roads, and more that you, your friends, family and co-workers depend on ... without raising taxes! So, as you make up your gift lists, make a commitment to “SHOP LOCALLY FOR THE HOLIDAYS” and visit such businesses as Abram W. Bergey and Sons Flooring, 311 Main Street, Harleysville ... Towamencin Beverage and CJ’s Doghouse, Sumneytown Pike at the Green Lane Road traffic light in Kulpsville ... Henning’s Trains, 128 South Line Street in Lansdale ... Koehler’s Jewelers on the corner of Main and Broad Streets in Lansdale ... The Woodburners in the Hatfield Train Station ... and Bustard’s Christmas Trees in Worcester Township and in Vernfield.
