Dayton is led by junior Justine Raterman (16.5pts / 7.4rebs) per game. She has already scored a career 1,396 points and is a 55 percent shooter from the floor. Senior Kristin Daugherty is a 1,000 point scorer who averages (12.5pts) per game. She is also the teams best three point shooter (44-88 .500) As a team, the Flyers shoot 36 percent from beyond the arc. Junior Patrice Lalor is the has picked the opponents pockets (46) times this year. She also is the team assist (3.4) per game leader. Head coach Jim Jabir is the all-time leader in wins in school history. Dayton is 4-1 in their last five games. This is their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Last year they lost in the second round to Tennessee.

Zhaque Gray knocked down a pair of three-pointers
inside of the final 1:20 of regulation to force
overtime and finished the game with a career-high
27 points. Nikki Greene notched her second career
double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
