New Boys Basketball Coach At North Penn

wnpv_sportsThe North Penn boys basketball team has a new coach. John Conrad greeted the media at a Monday afternoon press conference at the school.
"I'm pretty laid back," Conrad said, "but the boys will know who is in charge when they are on the court."
Conrad spent nine seasons as head coach at Lower Moreland. He won 31 games the last two seasons including 18 a year ago. He was one of 31 applicants for the job left vacant by Ron Hassler, who stepped down after coaching the Knights to 45 wins over three seasons. North Penn athletic director Don Ryan said in the end it came down to Condrad and two others and making the final choice was "very, very tough."
