State Basketball Playoffs Set

It must be March because the girls and boys state championship brackets are set. Girls action gets underway on Friday night with North Penn, the District One runner-up, hosting Governor Mifflin at Wissahickon High School. Action against the District Three representative gets underway at at 7:30pm. Spring-Ford, the District Champion, takes on Manheim Township at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. CR South and Cheltenham are also scheduled for action on Friday evening. In Double A action, District One Champion Christopher Dock will host Dunmore out of District Two. Game is set for 6pm from Coatesville High School. On Saturday, the boys begin play with Souderton taking on District Four Champion Williamsport. Action gets underway from Montoursville High School at 6pm. Closer to home, Abington hosts Central Dauphin from Wm. Tennent High School at 3pm. Wissahickon will take on Easton immidiatly after the Abington game from Tennent. CB West will take on St. Joe Prep at 5pm from Archbishop Ryan while Norristown heads to Hershey to take on Wm. Penn. In the Single A bracket, Faith Christian heads to Scranton to take on Susquehanna. Tip-off is slated for 6pm.
