The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs pounded out 14 hits in a 8-4 afternoon win in Buffalo. It was get-a-way-day against the Bison's and Lehigh Valley plated five runs in the eighth inning to pick up the win. First baseman Cody Overbeck went 4-5 with two doubles while Telford native Erik Kratz collected three hits as the 'Pigs took two of the four games in the series. Michael Schwimer picked up the win in relief. Joe Savory, recently sent down by the parent club Phillies, earned his first save. Lehigh Valley will finish this early season, seven game road trip in Rochester. WNPV will broadcast Friday nights game against the Red Wings beginning at 7pm.
