North Penn And Pennridge Football Game To Be Broadcast

One of the most important football games of the season has been added to the WNPV Internet broadcast schedule. Friday night the North Penn Knights (4-3) travel to Poppy Yoder field to take on the Pennridge Rams. (6-1) After week two disappointing over-time loss to Bensalem, the Rams have ripped off five straight wins. They are lead by junior running back Mike Class, the areas rushing leader, who is closing in on 1,500 yards for the season. The Knights feature senior Kyle Mayfield. Mayfield has rushed for 667 yards and nine TD's. North Penn needs to win their final three games to qualify for the playoffs. Then Knights have never missed the post season under head coach Dick Beck. If the Rams win out, they will guarantee their highest seed in post season history.
