Sandy Shuffles Sports Weekend on 'NPV

Strong winds have rearranged the sports broadcasting weekend on WNPV. Hurricane Sandy has to take some of the blame for us here at AM 1440 WNPV as we adjust our weekend sport schedule in light of the damage leftover from the storm. With area schools out for most, or all of the week, many have decided to move their Friday night football games to Saturday. Our radio game, North Penn at Souderton, is one of them. The two meet up Saturday afternoon with the pre-game show starting things off at 12:45pm. At the conclusion of that game, we will go directly to Penn State at Purdue in time for the 3:30pm kickoff. The Nationwide O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge is next on tap with a 7pm broadcast time. On Sunday the District One Quad A Selection Show., originally scheduled for Friday night after football, will air from 1p-2pm. Nascar Cup racing will close out the sports broadcast weekend beginning at 2pm. So after a tough week of dealing with the Hurricane Sandy aftermath, relax and enjoy it by listening to AM 1440.
