“Money” magazine is out with its list of best places to live, and Montgomery County did well with Horsham coming in at number 31, Ardmore at 45 and West Norriton at 59 among America’s Best Small Towns. Horsham and West Norriton were cited for their low crime rates and reasonably-priced housing, Ardmore was cited for its arts and culture, and all were cited for their proximity to Philadelphia.  The categories change somewhat every year, with Abington finishing 29th last year as one of America’s Best Small Cities.  The difference between a small city and a small town is the population.
