Reporter Editor Retiring

The Reporter’s long-time Editor, Nona Breaux, is retiring after 38 years with the newspaper. She says she is not retiring completely, and in fact she is starting a totally different second career.

“Another love of my life has always been animals, as anyone who has read my column knows, so now I’m going to be working in a veterinary hospital.  It’s very strange to some people.  Other people are saying, ‘This is such a natural thing for you.’”

Breaux says she has spent her entire adult working life at The Reporter, starting when it was locally owned and staying through two ownership changes.  She Appeared Wednesday on the WNPV talk program Comment Please by Univest.
