The West Norriton Township Planning Commission has taken a look at rough sketch plans for redeveloping 90 acres of the 135-acre Westover Country Club. They call for twelve tennis courts, five basketball courts, five soccer fields, a skate park, picnic pavilions, a renovated clubhouse and restaurant and an outdoor pool, as well as a new parking lot with 1,800 spaces.  It also includes a 25-foot setback from residential properties, but several residents turned out at a recent meeting to say they don’t want it and they will fight it.
