The Towamencin Township Supervisors have agreed that they will not close the Community Pool on Weikel Road.

It was discussed informally last month as a possible area to cut spending in next year’s budget, but they took it off the table at a recent meeting.

Chairman Dan Littley says the cost of running the pool keeps going up as membership keeps going down, but Supervisor Bob Rau says they just need to find ways of getting the pool closer to breaking even.
