Dr. King’s Message of Service Lives On
Today is Martin Luther King Jr Day. One school in Montgomery Township honored the civil rights leader by way of peace signs and hearts on bags filled with food for various agencies that help the financially underprivileged. On Friday, students from the Bridle Path Elementary School provided food for the agencies on the Dr King Holiday, including Manna On Main Street. Today, 50 children from the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ambler will be making meals for a seniors home in Philadelphia. Students at Lansdale Catholic and Gwynedd Mercy College will also be honoring Dr King’s message with various food drives.
