The Lower Providence Township Supervisors will hold a special meeting Thursday evening to review plans for a Freedom Valley YMCA on the grounds of the Shannondell Retirement Community on Egypt Road.

It would be similar to the Ambler YMCA on Bethlehem Pike in Lower Gwynedd with an indoor pool and other facilities.  An existing outdoor pool at Shannondell would remain.
