W-B Homes will get its chance next month to convince Towamencin Township officials to rezone about twelve acres at Mainland and Wambold roads for a Townhome Community. The developer wants to build 48 units there, but can’t do that with the current light industrial zoning designation. Township Manager, Rob Ford says, the public hearing is still a few weeks off.
“Soon as we could do it would be the second week in May, which I believe is May 22nd because the law requires the municipality to notify property owners in the area that being rezoned.”
The developer says almost half of the site will be preserved as passive open space and walking trails connect the Townhome community with nearby commercial centers
