The price at the pump has slowly increased over the last two weeks. The Director of Consumer Affairs for Bucks County, Mike Bannon says, the County’s Department of Weights and Measures is always checking pumps to ensure drivers are getting the amount of gas they purchase.
“We will check that out to make sure it’s right and if anyone thinks they’ve been shorted on gasoline, they should look on each pump, it has a sticker from the state or Bucks County, with the month and year it inspected last and a telephone number to get in touch to somebody if you think there is a problem.”
Bannon says, the Weights and Measures will also check for water and octane. Bannon was a guest on the AM-Edition.
