Reward Offered in Lansdale Murder Case

The Montgomery County District Attorney is offering a $10,000 reward for information about a Lansdale murder case gone cold.   The lifeless body of Julie Barnyock was found in a freight yard near the SEPTA train station in the borough almost 20 years ago.   Her cause of death was listed as blunt force head trauma.   Law enforcement officials are hoping that new forensic technology will allow them to make use of evidence that could not be tested at the time of the murder.
