There’s been conflicting reports of have how life is for corrections officers at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Some recent comments from officers suggest the facility is in dire need of repairs and that staffing levels need to be boosted. Others call those allegations untrue and not representative of all correctional officers. The matter has sparked a move to potentially bring in a union for the correction officers. Correctional officers will vote on December 16th for or against representation. Local 384 in Norristown is the union that would represent officers following the vote.
