The Bucks County Commissioners are expected to soon vote on plans for the extensive renovation of the courthouse in Doylestown. Commissioner Chair, Rob Loughery says when the courts move to the new justice center, due to open later this year, the County wants to bring offices located around Bucks back into the Courthouse.
“We’ve got to do some renovations to that building and some upgrades. The building is 50 years old. It will help us improve on energy efficiencies.”
Most of the work on the current courthouse will wait until the Justice Center opens its door.
