Lansdale Borough officials are raising awareness about a public safety issue. It seems homeowners don’t always put their street number on the house. It ends up painted on the curb or someplace else that is not easily visible.
Borough Council member, Rich DiGregorio says putting the street number on the house can save precious time when there is no time to waste.
“The Borough wants to have it on the house. If there is an emergency or a situation, they can see that number on the house. They want to go right directly to a person’s house and not go to three or four houses to find that house.”
DiGregorio reminds Lansdale homeowners that it is required by Borough code to have your address number clearly visible on your house.
