Filling up the gas tank has been more expensive over the last two months.
AAA East Central spokesperson, Theresa Podguski says, tensions in Ukraine and changing the gas blend from winter to summer blend has led to increases at the pump.
“In Pennsylvania we’re averaging about 36 cents hiring than we were a year ago. In the Philadelphia market, which includes Montgomery County, the average for self serve regular unleaded gasoline is 3.76 per gallon. It’s about a cent lower than a week ago.”
Podguski was a guest on the AM Edition Wednesday morning.
