A seatbelt can save your life, but many drivers are not buckling up. Brad Rudolph is with PennDOT.
Rudolph says, the state’s click it or ticket campaign is part of a wider effort to change the dangerous habit of driving while unbuckled
“Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies are teaming up with agencies across the east coast and Canada. About 12 states are taking part in a mobilization of a “click it or ticket”, a border to border operation to address low seatbelt usage, especially at night when people are more distracted and potentially driving impaired.”
The Click it or Ticket campaign kicked of on May 19th and will continue through June 8th.
