Residents in two nearby communities no longer have to take the extra step of boiling their water for safety reasons.
North Penn Water Authority Executive Director, Tony Bellitto says, the advisory was lifted Tuesday evening
“For the residents in Sellersville Borough and West Rockhill Township, we have lifted the boil water advisory. all the water quality lab samples have tested negative, indicating the all of the water quality is safe for consumption.”
The boil water advisory was ordered Sunday morning after a water main busted behind the Sellersville Firehouse, just above a stream. 1,900 water customers were impacted by the advisory.
