Another Genuardi’s Store Closing

The Genuardi’s Market in the Eagleville Plaza Shopping Center, on Ridge Pike in Lower Providence Township, is closing. The store has been upgraded several times since it opened in 1973, but the company says not enough space is available to add a food court and other things the newer stores have.  The closing comes less than a year after parent company Safeway closed four other stores, including the one in the Towamencin Shopping Village.  After the Eagleville store closes on October 8, 28 Genuardi’s Markets will remain open.
