Budget Moving Forward in Lansdale

Lansdale Borough Council has taken action to advertise a budget for next year.   Property taxes as well as sewer and electric rates will not increase under the proposed 30.6-million-dollar spending plan.   There won't be any cuts in municipal services either.   Borough Manager Timi Kirchner says the level of public safety will actually be enhanced by the hiring of an additional police officer.   The budget will be open for public inspection until December 21st when borough council is expected to give it final approval.
