The parking lot at Wissahickon High School was a busy place Saturday as Montgomery County held its fourth electronics waste collection of the year there. Hundreds of vehicles pulled in to drop off unwanted computers, printers and other peripherals as well as household appliances like televisions, vacumn cleaners and microwaves. Some things did get turned away though including air conditioners and dehumidifers. The next Montgomery County electronics waste collection is scheduled for July 20th at Ursinus College. Hazardous household waste like oil based paint can be dropped off at Abington Junior High School on August 17th.
