A new townhome development proposed in Lansdale has cleared another hurdle. Borough Council Wednesday night granted conditional use approval for the Andale Green Development on East Hancock Street near Stoney Creek Park. That means the 174-unit project has been found to be in compliance with the zoning criteria for the 15-acre property. The project is an unlotted neighborhood development. That means the entire site is deeded to a homeowners association. The owners of each unit buy no more than the structure itself and its footprint. Borough Council rezoned the property in May to allow for the townhome project. It was designated for industricl use but the warehouses that were once there have been demolished.
