Ex Ambulance Chief Files Lawsuit
Thomas Mazzo is seeking more than $74,000 in lost wages.
His lawsuit says his dismissal violated the state’s whistleblower law. It says he asked for access to financial records because he suspected money had been misspent, but he was denied access and fired instead. The company lawyer says he was terminated for other unspecified reasons.
Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler says county detectives and Warrington Township Police are looking into the ambulance company’s finances, but he cannot comment further until the investigation is complete.
