The Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce has reviewed plans for a Super Wawa with 12 gas pumps, proposed for the site of a closed Bally’s Fitness Center on Old York Road, at the fork with Easton Road in the center of the business district.

The three-acre site, between a Giant Food Store and a SEPTA Regional Rail station, could also get a bank or restaurant.

Upper Moreland Township officials have been working with the developer, Goodman Properties of Jenkintown, to design an attractive project that will have sidewalks connecting the convenience store to the train station.
