The Towamencin Supervisors have approved a budget for next year. The spending plan totals almost $13,000,000 across all funds and does not raise property taxes or increase sewer rates. It continues funding for the township road repaving program and also includes almost $190,000 for new police vehicles and trucks in the Public Works Department. The homestead and farmstead exemptions remain in the budget and will allow homeowners to shield $59,000 of the assessed value of their property from taxation. This is the third year in a row that township officials have delivered a budget without a property tax hike.
