SEPTA will continue running evening and weekend buses on two routes that serve the Montgomery Mall.

The transit agency had proposed eliminating the service because of low ridership and the loss of a county subsidy.

One is Route 132, which travels between the mall and Telford by way of Lansdale.  The other is Route 94, which travels between the mall and Chestnut Hill by way of Ambler and Montgomery County Community College.

Evening trips on both lines will run at or near their current times to accommodate mall employees and college students, and Sunday service will be scaled back to reflect store opening and closing times.

The current schedules remain in effect until February 17, and the new ones should be available around February 3.
