A PennDot salt truck fell over onto its side and hit a utility pole Monday in New Britain Township.

It happened around 8:00am at Callowhill and New Galena Roads, on the edge of Bucks County’s Peace Valley Park.

The truck apparently went off the right side of the road, and it fell over when the driver tried to get it back on the road.

The driver had minor injuries, the truck had considerable damage, and PennDot is conducting an internal investigation.
