Three Head For Trial In Montco Murder
A woman accused of hiring a man to kill her husband is heading for trial in Montgomery County Court along with the alleged hit man and his brother.
27-year-old Delia Hernandez-Cortes of Collingdale in Delaware County, 21-year-old Gabriel Martinez-Lopez and his 26-year-old brother Jose Miguel Martinez-Lopez, both of King of Prussia, all face first degree murder charges in the beating death of 32-year-old Jose Cazares-Olarte early last month in King of Prussia. At a preliminary hearing Thursday, Assistant District Attorney John Gradel said a statement Gabriel Lopez gave police indicates the murder was planned for at least three weeks before the victim was smashed in the head with a landscaper’s paver brick while he knelt at gunpoint. Hernandez allegedly dated Gabriel while working for a short time at the La Poblanita Mexican Bar in Norristown, where he also worked. All three are illegal Mexican immigrants who had been deported at least once in the past.
